PURPOSE:To easily and surely enable speaking in the case of speaking out of a service area by providing a control means for automatically originating a call when call origination is instructed in a state out of the area and the inside of the area is detected later. CONSTITUTION:When a central processing unit (CPU) 13 detects the execution of an operation for call origination with a key 19, the CPU 13 judges the decision data of received electric field intensity supplied from a received electric field intensity deciding circuit 18 and judges whether the equipment is located inside the area for enabling communication with a base station or not. When it is judged the equipment is located out of the area, the transmission of a connection request signal for call origination waits until it is decided by the decision data of the received electric field intensity deciding circuit 18 that the equipment is located inside the area for enabling communication. When it is detected in such a waiting state that the equipment comes into the area for enabling the communication, the call is originated by automatically transmitting the connection request signal or the like. Thus, it is not necessary to repeatedly perform the call originating operation, and the convenience as a telephone set is improved. |
