PURPOSE:To provide an illuminating device which has compact external size, by which specified reflection efficiency is obtained and which does not take much time for assembling work. CONSTITUTION:This illuminating device is equipped with a reflection member 3 reflecting light from a light source 2 and introducing it to a plate-shaped light guiding member 1 having specified thickness at the end 1a of the member 1. A reflection member holding part 11 is formed in the member 1, and a locking part 31 provided in the reflection member is fixed in the holding part 11. Therefore, the locking part 31 provided in the reflection member 3 is mechanically and easily fitted and fixed in the holding part 11 formed in the member 1, and further the reflection member 3 is directly fixed, so that the external size of the illuminating device is made compact. |
