PURPOSE:To eliminate picture distortion and the lowering of luminance at the peripheral part of a screen, and also, to make the device thinner. CONSTITUTION:A modified fiber sheet 4A having plural optical fibers which are arranged on a plane and whose output and is expanded upwards by making the pitch of the output end larger than the picth of an input end and a modified fiber sheet 4B having plural optical fibers which are arranged on a plane and whose output end is expanded downwards by making the pitch of the output end larger than the pitch of the input end are alternately arranged and stacked, and picture forming devices 2 respectively face the input ends of the modified fiber sheets 4A and 4B divided into the upper and lower parts. |
