PURPOSE:To simplify processing for a change and to speed up the display of a three-dimensional picture by executing operation by the use of a changed display parameter and stored intermediate results at the time of changing the display parameter. CONSTITUTION:The 1st shading calculation part 5 executes operation by the use of geometric information stored in a memory 3 and a part of display parameters and the intermediate results of respective picture elements found out by the operation are stored in an intermediate result memory 7. When graphic data stored in the memory 3 are displayed as a three-dimensional picture after changing the position or the like of a light source in said constitution, a new vector value to the light source which is a variable display parameter is inputted from an input terminal 2 and stored in the memory 3 under the control of the memory 3 by a processor 1. The variable display parameter is read out and applied to the 2nd shading calculation part 8 and three- dimensional picture based upon the light source arranged on the new position can be redisplayed only by recalculating the variable display parameter by the use of the intermediate results stored in the memory 7. |
