PURPOSE:To provide the control system, of an AC motor, which makes a protective-function level variable according to a switching frequency and which automatically sets a rated output current according to the switching frequency. CONSTITUTION:A loss which is caused in a power unit 16 is computed by a load-factor operation device 19 on the basis of a torque-component current command ITR. At this time, the output signal of a switching-frequency generation circuit 18 is supplied to the load-factor operation device 19 via a correction- function generator 20, and a load factor is corrected on the basis of a switching frequency. |
