This strip is noteworthy in that it is made from a U-shaped section (1), the flanges (1.1) of which U are configured, along their longitudinal border, with a flexible internal flap shape (1.2) forming a retaining means, with angles defining a slot for the passage of one or more profiled fasteners (2) with a base plane (2.1) for attaching to a wall or the like and with V-shaped flexible flanges (2.2) on either side, these fitting into the said strip and pinching it by expanding, the fastener or fasteners being inserted by clipping and by elasticity, while being retained inside the volume of the strip by pressure. <IMAGE>
