PURPOSE:To provide mobile object communications equipment for suppressing the power consumption of a mobile station at a minimum by turning on/off an automatic position registering function by turning on/off the power source of the mobile station while considering the case of moving a user carrying the mobile station out of a service area and judging the abandonment of communication. CONSTITUTION:At a move managing part 16, based on the information of a received electric field level measuring part 11 for a signal from the base station, on which the mobile station is registered at present, and a received electric field level measuring part 12 for signals from respective base stations, it is specified whether the mobile station exists inside or outside the service area, and an out-of-area alarm or a position registering request is operated. On the other hand, the various kinds of timer control are performed at a timer part 14 from the move of the user carrying the mobile station out of the area to the come-back of the user into the area and based on information from the timer part 14, the power source control of a power supply switch part 15 at the mobile station is performed. |
