PURPOSE:To transmit a satellite broadcast intermediate frequency signal and a satellite communication intermediate frequency signal that have the overlapping frequency bands by means of a single coaxial cable. CONSTITUTION:A satellite broadcast intermediate frequency signal BS-IF and the satellite communication intermediate frequency signals CS-IF1 and CS-IF2 which have the overlapping frequency bands are supplied to the input terminals 45, 46 and 47 respectively. The signal BS-IF is amplified by an amplifier 62, mixed with the VHF and UHF band TV broadcast signals by a mixer 52 and distributed to the mixers 78 and 80 by a distributor 76. The signals CS-IF1 and CS-IF2 are converted into the signals CS-IF1 and CS-IF2 of different output frequency from the BS-IF by the block converters 68 and 74 and then supplied to the mixers 78 and 80. The outputs of both mixers 78 and 80 are distributed by the 4-distributors 82 and 83 and supplied to the fixed contacts 84a, 86a, 88a, 90a, 84b, 86b, 88b, and 90b of the changeover switches 84, 86, 88 and 90 respectively. Then the mobile contacts 84c, 86c, 88c and 90c of the switches 84-90 are connected to the output terminals 92, 94, 96 and 98 respectively. |
