PURPOSE:To provide a developing device which makes it possible for a worker to replace a toner concentration sensor easily and securely without trouble and to detect accurate toner-concentration by improving the fluidity of toner in a developing tank. CONSTITUTION:The developing device is equipped with an electrostatic latent image carrier for carrying a prescribed electrostatic latent image, the developing tank 3 for supplying developer to visualize the electrostatic latent image formed on the carrier, and the toner concentration sensor 50 provided in the developing tank detachably. In the developing device, the part of the toner concentration sensor, which is exposed in the developing tank, is sealed with an insulated member 52. |
