COMPOSITE RUBBER HEATER PRODUCT

PURPOSE:To provide a heater product suitable for use in snow melting and freezing prevention CONSTITUTION:A heating element 2 is formed by installing electrodes 3 at both ends of a vulcanized rubber sheet which uniformly contains 0.5-60wt.% carbon fibers based on the weight of the rubber, and arranging a heat resistant fiber cloth on one side or both sides of the rubber sheet. The heating element 2 is embedded in vulcanized rubber 5 to produce a heater product 1. At least one hollow pipe or a pipe-like cavity is arranged in the vicinity of the heating element. The heat resistant fiber cloth prevents the electrode from peeling off and protects the whole heating element. The hollow pipe or the pipe-like cavity absorbs heat stored inside the heater and releases it. The heater product is suitable especially for a heater for train rail point freezing prevention.
