PURPOSE:To realize low cost, small size and light weight, and high reliability by sealing a semiconductor laser into a resin and integrating a lens unitedly with the resin. CONSTITUTION:A semiconductor laser 1 is sealed into a first resin 2, and the one end of the first resin 2 is formed to have a lens effect (curvature). Then a lens comprising a second resin 3 having different refractive index from that of the first resin 2 is adhered to the first resin 2. These elements are housed in a bobbin 4 and housed in an objective lens holder. Thereby, a conventional optical housing is not necessary and the optical system can be made smaller in size. |
