PURPOSE:To obtain an apparatus wherein a sample in a small quantity can be measured by a simple constitution and a throughput is high. CONSTITUTION:An electrophoretic apparatus is provided with one pair of flat plates 1a, 1b whose maximum surface roughness on opposite faces is at 0.05mm or lower and which are arranged so as to form a gap for a gel layer 8 between the opposite faces, with buffer tanks 2, 3 which are arranged on both the upper and lower end parts of the flat plates 1a, 1b and to which buffer solutions 4 are supplied and with electrodes 6 which apply voltages to the buffer solutions 4 inside the buffer tanks 2, 3. |
