PURPOSE:To smoothly carry residual toner by providing a spiral carrying member on the inner peripheral surface of a carrying tube, and a driving means driving and rotating the carrying tube with the carrying member around the center line of the carrying tube. CONSTITUTION:The spiral carrying member 3 is fixed on the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical carrying tube 2 installed between a cleaning device and a toner recovering bottle 1 being a toner recovering part for recovering the removed residual toner. The carrying tube 2 is supported to be freely rotated around the center line of the tube 2 by a supporting member 4 internally provided with a bearing, and further a gear 5 is formed at a part of the outer peripheral surface of the tube 2. The gear 8 fixed on the rotary shaft 7 of a motor 6 installed at a position proximate to the tube 2 meshes with the gear 5 through an intermediate gear 9. By driving the motor 6, the rotational force of the motor 6 is transmitted to the tube 2, and the tube 2 is rotated with the carrying member 3 fixed on the inside around the center line of the tube 2. |
