KNOCKING DETECTOR FOR INTERNAL-COMBUSTION ENGINE

摘要

PURPOSE:To conduct highly accurate decision of knocking without regulating the gain of a circuit for amplifying a sensor signal. CONSTITUTION:A sensor signal from a knock sensor 6 is passed through a prefilter 14 for removing high frequency noise components and then it is subjected to logarithmical conversion through a log amplifier 16. The sensor signal is then fed through an A/D converter 18 to a microcomputor 20 where it is converted into a value corresponding to the knocking component through digital filtering thus deciding the knocking.
