摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a satellite communications line reduced in the space loss and delay time of radio wave propagation and improved in the interference resistanct performance to geostationary satellite communications or ground radio communications line and the working rate of the communications line. CONSTITUTION:An earth station having a high elevation angle and azimuth angles in more than three directions to a communications satellite can be provided and the satellite communications line with less radio wave propagation loss in a space and a short delay time can be set by installing plural earth stations in an area irradiated with the antenna beams of respective communications satellites in common on the area around points just below the apogees of more than three communications satellites having an elliptic orbit in which an apogee radius Ra and a radius Rg of a geostationary orbit Rg is set Ra<=Rg, a period P and an eccentricity (e) is set e<=(P/Pg)<3/2>-1 (pg = the earth's rotation period) and an orbit inclination angle (i) is set i>0. Further, the radio wave interference resistant performance of the conventional elliptic orbit satellite communication, geostationary orbit satellite communications and ground radio communication line and the working rate of the satellite communications line can be improved.
