SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR APPLICATION OF USER-SUPPLIED RELATION DEFINITION TO APPLICATION FILE FOR RELATIONAL DATABASE

PURPOSE: To use a structured collation language not suitable for the definition of base relation at a relational data base managing system. CONSTITUTION: In order to prepare the user application file of a certain class, a class control block is prepared. Concerning that class control block, members in the set of library procedures are named corresponding to their classes. The table control block of user definitions storing column definitions is prepared corresponding to the table of user definitions. Both the control blocks can perform access to an execution superviser for using an access plan generated from an SQL statement. A special structured collation language statement is applied for excluding the class control block and the table control block of user definitions and performing user calling and the column definition in order to define the classes of the user application file.
