The stop device partly blocks the striker unit (2) in the tensioned adjustment position against the effect of a spring (10), and partly releases the striker unit which by its effect kills an animal when it motivates a release arrangement (6). A first stop component (13) is pivotable around a second axis (14) separate from a first (8) and works in conjunction with the striker unit. The first stop component in the stop position can be pivoted downwards against the effect of a force by pivoting in the direction of the striker unit tension direction, but by means of at least of a second stop component (15) is prevented from pivoting in the striker unit striking direction. The second stop component is connected to a release arrangement. |
