A method of enhanced aircraft engine inspection and maintenance which involves a more detailed regular inspection and repair and adjustment schedule than is customarily performed with particular attention being given to borescope and other detailed inspections with adjustments being performed as necessary and the elimination of the overhauling of the aircraft engine on an established periodic basis substituting an overhaul only when the detailed inspection shows it is absolutely required.
