A mat polymeric film contains 74 to 99 % by weight of polyester, 1 to 20 % by weight of titanium dioxide particles having a volume distributed median particle diameter in the range from 0.1 to 2.o mu m, and 0.1 to 6 % by weight of mica particles having a volume distributed median particle diameter in the range from 3 to 40 mu m. The polymeric film is suitable for use as a magnetic card.
