The invention relates to a thermostatic switch having a bimetallic snap-action disc (3) which is mounted on a bimetallic disc support (2), in which thermostatic switch the bimetallic snap-action disc (3) is prevented electrically/thermally from snapping back automatically, by heating the bimetallic element. According to the invention, heating resistors (4) are fitted on the bimetallic disc support (2), on one side or both sides.
