The furniture element (1) comprises three side parts (2, 3, 4) and three corner parts (5, 6, 7) connecting the side parts to one another. The furniture element (1) has, in cross-section, the shape of an isoceles triangle, the width (b), the length (l) and the height (h) of the furniture element being equal. The side parts (2, 3, 4) of the furniture element comprise webs (8) of larger cross-section and webs (9) of smaller cross-section, grooves being formed between the webs (8, 9). The webs (9) of smaller cross-section are provided with apertures (10). The furniture element is suitable for constructing frames, for attachment of accessories to support objects, provided with a suitable insert, as a plant container, or, provided with appropriate accessories, for displaying articles in shops. <IMAGE>
