COMPOSITION OF INHIBITOR AND METHOD OF PREPARATION THEREOF

The invention applies to metal corrosion inhibitors. The individual substances are usually not the inhibitors that protect several metals against the corrosion. That is the reason why inhibitor mixtures are used. The aim of the invention is to obtain an inhibitor composition, which would simultaneously protect steel, brass and cast iron in water and water-glycol media in small concentrations (comparing to borax inhibitors). The aim may be used preparing the composition as follows: sodium glyceroborate corresponding to the formulae Na[(CH2OCHOCH2OH)B(OH)2]x2H2O - 27-33.3%,borax - 53-66.7%,water - the rest.This inhibitor composition extends the range of protected metals. The steel, brass and cast iron corrosion in water and water/glycol media stops completely at the concentration of the inhibitor 3 g/l.
