The present invention refers to a process at hydrogen peroxide bleaching of paper or pulp. According to the invention an amount of carboxy metylized albumen hydrolysate, based on animal albumen and with a molecular weight less than 1000 is added to the hydrogen peroxide solution. By means of this additive the bleaching result for the finished pulp or the paper is improved. Further a stronger pulp is obtained.
