A washer 10 for sealing fixing holes in corrugated sheeting 9 is provided with an aperture 15 elongated in the longitudinal direction of the sheeting to allow movement of the sheeting and washer relative to the fastener, the aperture being covered by a clamp plate 11. A conical seal 12 is provided under the head of the fastener which is screwed into framework 8. To facilitate sliding movement between the washer 10 and clamp plate 11, the surfaces may be coated with glass fibre, P.T.F.E. or a silicon based antifriction composition. The sliding surface of the washer may be provided with ribs (22), Fig. 1 (not shown).
