Low-alloy steel, clad with stainless steel by overlay welding and resisting delamination at the interface caused by hydrogen. |
摘要 |

Reactor vessels for hydrogenation processes in the petrochemical industry are usually made of low-alloy steels, with a cladding of stainless steel formed by overlay welding. A frequently occurring problem is delamination at the interface, due to contact with hydrogen at high temperature and under high pressure. The high-strength steel of the invention does not suffer of this disadvantage: it contains, in weight percent : 0.05 to 0.30% carbon, up to 1.5% manganese, 0.8 to 5.5% chromium, 0.5 to 1.5% molybdenum, 0.0005 to 0.010% boron, 0.01 to 0.04% titanium and/or niobium, the balance being iron with incidental impurities.
|
