PURPOSE:To provide am image forming apparatus in which an individual number information is assembled in the apparatus with a low cost and the information can be added to output image. CONSTITUTION:An infrared LED 24 is lit for reading data, and a transfer drum 6 is idled. A reflected light at the drum 6 is received by a photodiode 25, converted to a voltage value by a current/voltage converter 27, amplified by a buffer 28, and then analog/digital-converted by an A/D converter. The converted data is latched by a D-flip-flop of next stage at timing of a DLT signal generated by a timing generator. |
