PURPOSE:To completely eliminate the clearance between sheets of lapped joint parts of a sink, improve the accuracy of joint part, restrict the strain and prevent masonry joint slipping by clamping a contact surface of a metallic sheet with a top sheet and a water tank superposed and welding it by radiating a laser beam from an extending direction of the damped contact surface. CONSTITUTION:Joint parts that the periphery of an opening of a top sheet 1 of a sink and a flange of an opening of a water tank 2 are superposed are clamped with an upper clamp 3 and a lower clamp 4 of a clamping device. In this case, the clearance between sheets of the joint parts is completely eliminated from the sheet thickness direction, the joint accuracy is improved, a laser beam 6 irradiates against the extending line 5 of the lapped contact surfaces from 0 deg. or an arbitrary angle, strains during welding is restricted and masonry joint can be prevented. Further, because the penetration can be formed in the joint part extending line 6 direction, the molten width at the joint part is broadened and the welding strength can be remarkably increased, etc., excellent results on the quality of the sink can be obtained. |
