PURPOSE:To obtain a monoclonal antibody recognizing binding mode of cialic acid. CONSTITUTION:A mouse immunocyte immunized with NeuAcalpha2-6GalNAcbeta1-1' AGE (compound 4) and sheep submandibular gland mucin is fused with mammal myeloma cell and the fused cell is screened with the sheep submandibular gland mucin to afford a well positive to the sheep submandibular gland mucin. Thereby, the monoclonal antibody, specifically binding to saccharide, sugar protein or glucolipid having cialic acid at the ends, having NeuAcalpha2-6GalNAc of cialic acid of the ends as antigen-determining group and which belongs to class IgG is obtained. |
