PURPOSE:To store a desired chair without deteriorating quality of a floor surface. CONSTITUTION:This device comprises plural containing boxes 1A, 1B to store chairs 2 disposed at specified positions to be adjacent to each other, means to support the containing boxes 1A, 1B to be capable of displacement in a vertical direction, respectively, an aperture part provided in a surface where the containing box 1A faces the adjacent containing box 1B, and parallel links 4 capable of expansion/contraction provided at the containing boxes 1A, 1B and linked with a screw jack 3 to drive the chair 2 in a direction to protrude it from the aperture part. It is also provided with electromagnets 5 to connect the parallel links 4 with the chairs 2 selectively, and a lock lever 6 disposed on the containing box 1B to stop a lever 22 protruded from the chair 2 at a specified position in an upper surface of the containing box.
