<p>Effluent or sludge is disinfected, to remove risk of infection during later treatment and handling, by a submerged burner. Pref. the mixture of waste gas and steam from the after-heater, contg. the submerged burner, is fed to preheaters. Plant is simple and compact and may be transportable.</p> |
