摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the hygroscopic strain of patterns by setting the hygroscopic strain difference in the arbitrary width of a film and the molecular orientation angle difference thereof measured by a microwave so as to satisfy a specific formula. CONSTITUTION:A biaxially oriented polyamide film is constituted so that the hygroscopic strain difference in the arbitrary width of the film and the molecular orientation angle difference thereof measured by a microwave satisfy formula (wherein WF is the arbitrary width of the film, DELTAepsilon is the hygroscopic strain difference (%) of the film and DELTAgammaOR is the difference ( deg.) between molecular orientation angles measured at two arbitrary points by a microwave. As a polyamide resin, an aliphatic polyamide resin such as nylon-6, an aromatic polyamide resin such as polymetaxylyleneadipamide and other many polymers or copolymers are designated. This polyamide film is produced by a method wherein a non-oriented polyamide film is respectively stretched by three times or more in the lateral and longitudinal directions thereof at temp. higher than the glass transition point of the polyamide resin by 10 deg.C or higher under environment with relative humidity of 60% or more to be thermally set.
