PURPOSE:To effectively utilize a display by setting driving and stopping modes according to a driving speed and then calculating the screen showing the driving state of a vehicle and that for showing detailed information of vehicle in the former and latter, respectively, and then displaying them on the vehicle-mounted display. CONSTITUTION:A mode setting part 32 obtains the driving speed of a vehicle from an input signal and then sets driving and stopping modes based on the speed. A display data operation part 34 calculates each kind of driving data based on the input data, calculates, in real time, the driving mode screen showing the driving state of the vehicle when the driving mode is set, and then shows it on a display 10. Also, the operation part 34 reads arbitrary data from a memory 40 when the stopping mode is set, calculates a stop mode screen indicating the detailed information of vehicle, and then shows it on the display 10, thus obtaining each kind of vehicle information from the display 10 and effectively utilizing it. |
