<p>PURPOSE:To provide a membrane for purifying blood which has excellent permeability of urea, has less complement activity and is sterilizable with an autoclave by using a polyamide imide hollow yarn membrane which contains the polyamide imide membrane unit expressed by specific formula and has specific fine pores. CONSTITUTION:The hollow yarn membrane which has the polyamide imide membrane unit expressed by the formula, has the fine pores of an average pore radius of 10 to 200rho and of which the water permeation rate ratio (a value) of water when the blood is used to the water permeation rate ratio of the water when the pure water is used is >=0.1 is used as the membrane for purifying blood. In the formula, R1, R2 denote hydrogen and/or 1 to 4C alkyl group, X denotes the combination group expressed by O, CO, SO2, CR3, R4; R3 R4 denote hydrogen, methyl group; (n) denotes 0 or 1. As a result, the water permeability is lessened and the hollow yarn for purifying blood which has the excellent permeability of urea, has the less complement activity and is less degraded and deteriorated in membrane performance by gamma ray sterilization and autocalve sterilization is obtd.</p> |
