PURPOSE:To obtain high quality image having few void and favorable fixing properties over a long period of time even to recording paper having low surface smoothness. CONSTITUTION:The recording device concerned is equipped with an intermediate transferring medium 2 made of a liquid silicone rubber, which hardens through the addition reaction with an organopolysiloxane having a vinyl group at its terminal and organohydrodienepolysiloxane having a hydrogen group at its terminal and, at the same time, contains no reinforcing filler, so as to once form ink image 11 on the intermediate transferring medium 2 and then urgingly transfer the ink image 11 or recording paper 10 in order to obtain high quality image having a few void and favorable fixing properties even to recording paper having low surface smoothness. Further, by taking the material of the silicone rubber employed in the intermediate transferring medium 2 into full consideration, the favorable transferring characteristics of the ink image 11 to the recording paper 10 can be obtained over a long period of time. |
