COMBUSTIION METHOD FOR HEATING FURNACE USING REGENERATIVE BURNER

PURPOSE:To make it possible to prevent the generation of combustion and explosion of explosive mixed air produced by combustion air to be fed to a burner and combustion exhaust gas remaining in a heat reservoir-built-in pipeline. CONSTITUTION:When burning a heating furnace with an alternating combustion type regenerative burner, an inactive gas is fed to a pipeline 16 before the pipeline 16 from heat reservoirs 11 up to a switching valve 15 is switched to a combustion air feed pipeline 18 side by operating the switching valve 15. The combustion gas remaining in the pipeline 16 is replaced with the inactive gas. Then, the pipeline 15 is switched to a combustion exhaust gas suction pipeline 20 side by means of the change over valve 15.
