PURPOSE:To increase the antacid properties and fast-acting properties in an antacid composition. CONSTITUTION:The objective antacid composition contains hydrotalcite and dihydroxyaluminum aminoacetate at a weight ratio of 30/70 to 90/10 as the antacid components. The composition may contain a fast-acting antacid component such as magnesium hydroxide in an amount of 10 to 50wt.%. The composition is useful as a medicinal composition containing the antacid components, carriers, additives, medicines other than the antacid components where the total amount of the antacid components is more than 10wt.%. The medicinal composition is prepared into particles or granules or tableted. |
