PURPOSE:To make a temperature distribution in a room uniform by allowing warm air sufficiently to arrive at a floor in an air conditioner having a warm water heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:An air-conditioner has a warm water heat exchanger 12, and a variable flow valve 15 for controlling a supply amount of warm water to the exchanger, and comprises detecting means 10 for detecting a temperature of the exchanger 12, and control means 200 for inhibiting to increase an opening of the valve 15 when a temperature detected by the means 100 is raised to exceed a specific first temperature and reducing a flow rate by reducing the opening of the valve when the temperature is raised to exceed a specific second temperature.
