Reactive dyes are of formula: (where F is known dye radical and n = 1,2 or 3, R is H or substd. or unsubstd. alkyl or cycloalkyl radical and T is a 1,3,5-triazine or 1,3,5-pyrimidine ring bonded to N by a C of the ring and contains a gp. where Z' is S or Se and benzene ring can be further substd.). The dyes are very suitable for dyeing natural and synthetic textile materials.
