PURPOSE:To obtain the stereophonic sound by receiving reversely the monaural signal after converting into the increased false sound image signal. CONSTITUTION:The amplitude modulation is given to the subcarrier signal 2 with the output of signal source 1 simultaneously with application of the output of aural signal source 1 to balanced modulator 3. This amplitude modulated wave is applied to compounding unit 5 along with the output of external signal source 4, and furthermore the pilot signal from divider 6 is compounded at compounded unit 7. Thus, the composite signal is obtained to be transmitted from transmitter antenna 9 after the FM modulation. With reception of the electric wave through the FM stereo receiving device, the subcarrier signal which is the output from source 1 is demodulated with the asymmetric phases. Thus, the aural feeling is increased with no normal position, obtaining the enlarged sound. On the other hand, the output of source 4 is not increased and heard from the center of a pair of speakers. |
