PURPOSE:To suppress engine rolling accompanying sudden operation of an accelerator so as to damp a vibration of a vehicle by controlling torque of a rotary machine on the basis of physical quantity showing a tendency or a condition of the engine rolling. CONSTITUTION:A motor 14 also serving as a generator is arranged on an extension of an output shaft of an engine 10 and is supplied with electric power from a battery 18 via an inverter 16. An ECU 20 controls the number of revolutions, torque, and an output of the motor 14. Especially, when an accelerator is depressed at the predetermined speed or higher, or when it is released, a condition that the engine 10 is going to start rolling or a condition that the engine 10 has started rolling is detected. On the other hand, physical quantity showing a tendency of the generation of rolling or a rolling condition in the engine 10 is detected. When this condition is detected, its physical quantity is used for controlling the torque of the rotary machine. This control is carried out so that rolling of the engine 10 is suppressed. In this way, vibration of a vehicle is damped. |
