PURPOSE:To adjust the height of a bathroom unit to allow the unit to be held in place without shaking by specifying the length of a nut provided to a mounting piece mounted on each base portion of U-shaped cross section, with the nut being open in the vertical direction. CONSTITUTION:Four base portions 5a of U-shaped cross section are extended in a horizontal direction and mounted on the lower surface of a washing floor, and a mounting piece 8a made of a rectangular pipe is mounted on the side of each base portion 5a. A long nut 6a not less than twice as long as the diameter of a tapped hole is attached to the side of each mounting piece 8a. A bolt 7a is threaded into each long nut 6a, with a locknut 61a threaded around its lower side. A bathroom unit is installed on a foundation. The depth by which the bolt 7a is threaded into the long nut 6a is varied by rotation of the bolt 7a so as to prevent a bathtub and the washing floor from being tilted or shaken, and the unit is firmly set in place with the locknut 61 a moved upward to keep the bolt 7a from turning. Since each long nut 6a is very long and covers a wide installation area, it is firmly secured to the mounting piece 8a, allowing the bolt 7a to be threaded into the nut 6a with no backlash and preventing the thread of the bolt from being broken. |
