PURPOSE:To securely and simply heat by a laser beam while freely setting a heating position by spouting out an annular air flow from the air spouting port of a shield nozzle on the surface to be heated, and making the air exist inside and outside an annular edge part. CONSTITUTION:At a state in which an irradiation cylinder 10 is inserted near a surface X to be heated, which is immersed in pool water, inert gas is supplied to a shield nozzle 21 via an air supply path 22. Then, the inert gas heated to a high temperature by the heat exchange of a reflection mirror 14, becomes an annular air flow to spout out toward the surface to be heated from an air spouting port 21e. The intrusion of the pool water, is prevented by the hollow part 21f of the nozzle 21, and the vaporization of water in the hollow part 21f, is accelerated. Next, when irradiating by a laser beam L from an irradiation window 15, in an initial condition, since the water intrudes into the hollow part 21f, the water is vaporized by heating, the water is pushed out to the outside by the pressure of vapor, an inside becomes a vapor atmosphere, energy is not dispersed, and a clad layer is formed. |
