发明名称 CONDUCTIVE MEDIUM FOR MEDICAL USE
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a highly conductive medium for medical use without giving any irritation when applied to the surface of a skin by providing crosslinking treatment to an acrylic polymer as a general-purpose polymer in a condition containing a carbonate ester as an organic solvent and a specific inorganic salt as an electrolyte in a miscible state and converting the polymer into a gel-like medium. CONSTITUTION:Crosslinking treatment is carried out by causing an acrylic polymer prepared by polymerizing min. 50wt.% of (meta)acrylic acid alkyl group with the number of carbon atoms ranging from 1 to 14 in the side chain of the ester to contain a carbonate ester and an inorganic salt having ions of monovalent or bivalent matel. Consequently, a specific inorganic salt as an electrolyte is dissolved in the carbonate ester which is a solvent of relatively high permittivity and the both remain with retained compatibility with the acrylic polymer in a dissociated state, which allows the medium to demonstrate excellent conductivity. In addition, the conductive medium to which crosslinking treatment is carried out has not only excellent flocculation property but also capacity to minimize irritation to the skin surface to which it is applied.
