MONOCLONAL ANTIBODY AND HYBRIDOMA, SPECIFIC TO DIPHENYL ETHER DERIVATIVE, AND METHOD FOR DETECTING DIPHENYL ETHER DERIVATIVE

PURPOSE:To obtain a new antibody useful for accurately quantify diphenyl ether-based herbicides such as acifluorfen. CONSTITUTION:A monoclonal antibody specific to a diphenyl ether derivative of the formula (R1 is trifluoromethyl or Cl; R2 is a 1-2C alkoxyl, methoxycarbonyl or carboxyl; R3 is nitro or amino), e.g. Af-83-162 antibody. Using a hybridoma AF-83-162 strain, the antibody against the illustrated compound can be produced. The hybridoma and the monoclonal antibody can be prepared by conventional method, e.g. the method described in 'Biochemical Experiment Course, second series'-immunobiochemistry (Edited by the Japan Society of Biochemistry).
