PURPOSE:To obtain a plastic filter having excellent strength, rigidity, corrosion resistance and heat resistance with excellent moldability by forming a net part by using a high-strength high polymer material consisting of an arom. heterocyclic high polymer, liquid crystalline high polymer of a main chain type or high polymer having highly oriented molecular chains, etc. CONSTITUTION:The net part is formed by using the high-strength high polymer material consisting of the arom. heterocyclic high polymer, the liquid crystalline high polymer of the main chain type or high polymer having highly oriented molecular chains, etc. The net part is preferably formed by particularly using the liquid crystal polymer which exhibits the nature of a liquid crystal and has a good flow property in a molten state. Further, the fine net part which is improved in the opening rate by confining the diameter or width of the net yarn of the net part to <=0.5mm. The metal molds for this purpose are constituted by forming net grooves consisting of transverse grooves 3, vertical grooves 4 and frame grooves 5 on the press mating surfaces of the upper mold 1 and the lower mold 2 respectively. A molding resin material is injected into the molds by a one-point gate 6 in order to prevent the generation of a weld line. |
