EDGE TUCKING-IN METHOD AND DEVICE IN PACKAGING COIL

PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive edge tucking-in device which tucks the edge of packaging paper into the end face of a coil with the coil kept standstill without rotating. CONSTITUTION:An edge tucking-in device includes a stand 2, a rotating mechanism 3 and an edge tacking-in mechanism 4 as basic constitutional components and is equipped with a separate control mechanism to control those mechanisms. The edge tucking mechanism 4 enters between the edge of packaging paper and the end face of a coil to form folds, and tucks the edge of the packaging paper into the end face of the coil as it rotates.
