Free-flowing pulverulent feedstuff is produced from sugar-beet- or sugar-cane molasses by an improved spray-drying method comprising diluting the molasses with water to a consistency suitable for spraying, adding an agent promoting the spraying (pref. 0.5-4 wt.% Ca(OH)2, foaming the mass with an inert gas and spray-drying. The nutritive value and taste of the product are not affected due to the mild conditions of the process. The product can be stored for a prolonged time, air-tight packed in air-tight containers. |
