PURPOSE:To obtain a packaged retort food, e.g. a retort packaged 'INARI- ZUSHI' (a vinegared rice ball wrapped up in a bag of fried bean curd seasoned with sugar and soy sauce) or 'CHIMAKI' (a rice dumpling wrapped in iris or bamboo leaves) on a mass-production scale. CONSTITUTION:This packaged retort food is obtained by housing rice or processed rice packaged in a heat-resistant and water-permeable film and an aqueous liquid in a rigid plastic container, hermetically sealing the plastic container and carrying out the retort treatment. |
