PURPOSE:To provide a high performance catalyst enabling to stably and efficiently remove malodor components such as trimethylamine, methyl mercaptan and ammonia, generating from a household and an office at the normal temp. over a long period. CONSTITUTION:An iron compound is impregnated into alumina, silica or an alumina-silica compound and deposited to be sintered, thus an obtained catalyst component in which the iron oxide is dispersed and deposited on a carrier and a catalyst component consisting of at least one kind metallic oxide selected from Mn, Cu and Co constitute the deodorizing catalyst. |
