1330564 Treating carpets with carbon fibre dispersion KUREHA KAGAKU KOGYO KK 19 April 1971 [12 March 1970] 23877/71 Heading D1P [Also in Division B2] A carpet having low static charge is produced by applying to the carpet a binder which has uniformly dispersed thereon 0.1-10% by weight based on the solids content of the binder of carbon fibre. The binder may be natural rubber, butadiene-styrene rubber, butadiene-acrylonitrile rubber, polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, polyurethane. The carpets treated in the Examples comprise a woven base cloth of hemp yarn and nylon pile, a woven base cloth of cotton yarn and woollen pile and a base hemp cloth and woollen pile. |
